Redirect Modes

UTMPro supports four redirect modes for advanced traffic routing.

Single Redirect (Default)

Every click goes to one destination URL. This is the standard mode for most links.

Weighted Redirect

Split traffic between multiple URLs by percentage. Perfect for:

  • Sending 70% traffic to your main page and 30% to a test page
  • Distributing paid traffic across multiple landing pages
  • Geographic load balancing

Example: URL A = 60%, URL B = 30%, URL C = 10%

A/B Testing

Similar to weighted, but designed for controlled experiments. Compare two or more landing pages to see which converts better. You can set an end date for the test, after which all traffic goes to the winner.

Rotator Mode

Round-robin through multiple URLs. Each click goes to the next URL in sequence. Useful for:

  • Distributing leads evenly across sales reps
  • Rotating affiliate offers
  • Load-balancing traffic across servers

Geo & Device Targeting

Beyond redirect modes, you can set targeting rules that send users to different URLs based on:

  • Country/Region: Show localized landing pages
  • Device Type: Mobile vs. desktop experiences
  • Operating System: iOS App Store vs. Google Play
