What Are Webhooks?
Webhooks are HTTP callbacks that fire when an event occurs. UTMPro sends a POST request to your URL whenever a link is clicked, created, or updated.
Automation Examples
- Slack notification when a high-priority link gets clicked
- CRM update: log clicks as activities in HubSpot or Salesforce
- Google Sheets: log every click via Zapier
- Email alert when a proposal link is opened
- Lead scoring: award points when a lead clicks specific links
Setting Up
- Go to Settings, Webhooks
- Add your endpoint URL
- Select events (link.clicked, link.created, etc.)
- Set a secret for HMAC verification
- Save and test
